Good start to what promises to be an interesting series. The writing was good, with only a few typos and other small errors. The characters of Caleb, the protagonist, and Sophie, the sex angel, were pretty well defined; minor characters not so much. I found the ending rather abrupt. A lot of attention was given to the first half/two-thirds of the story describing Caleb's unhappy life and then meeting Sophie. The last part seemed rushed. Despite that, I will be looking for more books in this series, I hope with more developed characters and plot.
A very good beginning to a series with a good ending. There is a lot of sex. The question being asked here is this? What happens when angels decide evil is getting the upper hand? You get a college kid packing heat who takes down school shooters.
